Team Lead, Immuno-Oncology / Principal Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of scientists, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and execution-focused team environment
• Drive the execution of immuno-oncology programs simultaneously, delivering high-quality data packages to support program advancement and portfolio decision-making
• Oversee the design and execution of in-vitro and in-vivo studies to generate robust, reproducible, and decision-enabling datasets
• Translate complex experimental results into clear, actionable insights and communicate findings effectively to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
• Provide immunology expertise to support program strategy, data interpretation, and problem-solving across research activities
• Build and manage external partnerships with academic collaborators, industry partners, and scientific advisors to support program objectives
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project priorities, timelines, and deliverables
• Support program planning and execution through effective prioritization, resource coordination, and scientific rigor
• Present program updates, key findings, and recommendations to senior leadership, including the Head of IO Center and the Head of Institute for Advanced Medicines

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Immunology (cellular immunology preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral training with strong scientific expertise in immunology research
• At least 3 years of industry experience in therapeutic drug discovery and development, preferably in immunology and/or immuno-oncology
• Demonstrated experience leading research activities and mentoring junior scientists
• Proven ability to manage multiple programs and priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional research setting
• Strong scientific communication, data interpretation, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex findings to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
• Fluent in English with verbal communication skills
