    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development professional to lead and execute partnering strategy across Kaigene’s pipeline and platform technologies. This individual will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic collaborations, licensing opportunities, and financing transactions.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute business development strategy aligned with Kaigene’s pipeline and platform priorities. 

    • Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities, including: Licensing (in/out), collaborations

    • Lead deal processes: Target identification and outreach, Confidential discussions and data room management, term sheet negotiation and deal structuring 

    • Conduct scientific and commercial due diligence, including: Competitive landscape analysis, target validation and differentiation, market opportunity assessment 

    • Build and maintain relationships with biotech/pharma partners, investors, and advisors. 

    • Work closely with internal R&D teams to align scientific strategy with partnering goals. 

    • Prepare high-quality presentations and materials for partners, investors, and board meetings. 


    Requirements

    • Degree in life sciences, business, or related discipline.

    • 5+ years of experience in biotech/pharma business development, consulting, or related roles. 

    • Strong understanding of antibody therapeutics or related sciences 

    • Demonstrated experience in: Deal sourcing and execution, Licensing transactions and partnership negotiations 

    • Ability to understand and communicate complex scientific concepts. 

    • Strong financial and strategic thinking skills (valuation, deal structuring). 

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 

    • Language: Fluent in Korean, and professional working proficiency in English.
