    Dong-A ST is a healthcare innovator. Currently, our R&D is at the cusp of an inflection point to expand our presence not only in Korea but also at the global level. We are committed to broadening our presence in the Oncology and Inflammatory Disease area while actively seeking business opportunities to revamp our capability. In-house, we are building groups of scientists with advanced capabilities in the areas of medicinal chemistry, disease biology, and translational research. Last year, we launched our first Innovation Center in CIC/Boston to strengthen our capabilities in the space of fast-growing gene therapy field and network into bio ecosystems there.     Title: Junior or Senior Research Scientist

    (based on experience and competence)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Processing/analyzing NGS data (genomics) and biomarker discovery

    • Analysis of biomedical databases (TCGA, GTEx, HPA, etc.) for novel target discovery

    • Collaborative research with CADD (Computer Aided Drug Discovery) part

    Professional Experience / Qualifications:

    • M.S. or PhD in bioinformatics or related fields such as biology, chemistry, statistics, or computer science (Required)

    • Expertise in genomic data analysis

    • Proficiency in utilizing cancer genomics databases (e.g., TCGA, CCLE)

    • Programming skills in at least one of Python, R, or Perl, and proficiency in Linux shell scripting

    • Experience in developing AI/ML models (preferred)

    • Experience in CADD, especially protein engineering (preferred)

    • Research experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred)
