Great Research Opportunity at the FDA

We are looking for a Post Doctoral Research Fellow that will be participating in the FDA’s Office of Women’s Health (OWH) Intramural Scientific Research Program. This research program will be a collaboration between multi-disciplines including FDA’s Office of Clinical Pharmacology (OCP) and Division of Bone, Reproductive, and Urologic Products (DBRUP).

About the Opportunity

The Post Doctoral Research Fellow will be conducting research on drug-drug interactions (DDI) involving hormonal contraceptives. The Research Fellow will conduct literature/database search for publically available information and also conduct analysis/interpretation on currently available data within the Agency. The Research Fellow will also participate in publishing research results in scientific journals and making presentations at professional meetings.

This position will be a 15 month full time position in the Office of Clinical Pharmacology, Center of Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), FDA at Silver Spring, MD and a commitment of 15 month would be necessary.

Qualifications

A Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., or M.D.) in relevant research areas would be necessary and relevant clinical/research experience or expertise in clinical pharmacology and women’s health would be a plus.
