Yuhan USA Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in driving Yuhan’s business growth by pursuing strategic collaborations, evaluating innovative assets for in-licensing, and identifying potential partners for out-licensing opportunities. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, takes initiative, and brings a strong balance of scientific expertise and business insight.
Responsibilities:
Perform initial review and detailed assessment report of external programs for in-licensing
Support out-licensing initiatives by preparing data packages, presentations, and strategic positioning materials for Yuhan’s internal R&D pipeline assets
Explore in-licensing and out-licensing opportunities through conferences, seminars, partnering meetings, and industry events
Provide strategic insights based on deep scientific understanding and thorough analysis of market dynamics and industry trends
Build relationships with potential business partners, outside counsel, and other key external parties
Act as a liaison between external partners and Yuhan’s internal R&D team; facilitate meetings regarding product development, R&D collaboration, and strategic initiatives.
Travel requirement: approximately 10%
Basic Qualifications (required):
MS in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biology, or related discipline
Deep understanding of research, drug development and clinical strategies, with strong awareness of the competitive landscape and industry trends in oncology and metabolic disease
Excellent interpersonal, networking, and communication skills
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA, Ph.D., or other advanced degrees
Prior experience in business development and/or biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience, especially in the field of oncology and metabolic disease
Fluent in Korean
