   -        미국 바이오 전시회는 바이오산업과 관련된 가장 큰 국제행사로, 인적 네트워크 구축 및 최신 바이오분야 동향파악에 좋은 기회

   - 동 전시회는 매년 미국내 장소를 변경해서 개최하는 순회 전시회로, 특히 올해는 미국 바이오 & 헬스케어 산업의 제1의 기반 도시인 보스톤에서 개최되어 관련 종사자들 간의 교류 가능성 다대  

   -        한-미 양국간 바이오, 헬스케어 분야 산업계, 정부, 협회, 투자자 등 교류를 통한 정보 공유, 협력 이슈 논의 및 비즈니스 활성화를 위한 장 마련

KASBP 일리노이 지부 (이하 KASBP-IL)가 드디어 출범합니다. Great news for you!  KASBP Illinois chapter (KASBP-IL) will be launched soon. Mr.  Won Chung (Seungwon Chung) at AbbVie with Drs. Kyunghyo Kim, Dongjoon Lee at AbbVie, and Hyunjin Lee at University of Chicago will host the opening ceremony of KASBP-IL on May 12, 2018. It is certain that KASBP-IL will be a cradle for scientists and specialists in pharmaceutical and bio-science industry by providing a great chance to share valuable information and learn from each other members. Dear KASBP Members,

The Innovation & Technology Partnering 2018 is taking place April 19-20 at the InterContinental Seoul COEX.

This event focuses on Industry 4.0 and will consist of over 150 exhibiting Korean companies within Autonomous and Electric Vehicles, Robotics, Drones, Biotech, IoT (including Smart City/Homes), VR/AR, 3-D printing, AI, Big Data, Blockchain, Cloud, and 5G.

More importantly however, not only will there be hundreds of Korean companies from Industry 4.0, but now attending are the pharma and life science companies which were all recipients of the billion dollar Korea Drug Development Fund (KDDF). KDDF recipient companies and university are leading Korean pharmaceutical research in the fields of oncology, hematology, immunology, respiratory, ophthalmology, CNS, cardiovascular, metabolic, gastrointestinal, and infectious diseases. The KASBP members will have a great opportunity in meeting with these companies for licensing and collaborative R&D opportunities.

KOTRA will provide translation services, 3 nights hotel, and partial airfare.

We are revamping the membership to three tiers - regular, graduate student and undergraduate student - and will no longer have associate membership.
