[Job Description]

I.              Therapeutic Area Medical Strategy

1.      Develop country medical strategy with manager for all products including full lifecycle management and pre-marketing activities

2.      Validate developing country medical strategy with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)

3.      Ensure country medical strategy, plan and activities to be implemented by the relevant stakeholders such as Marketing and Sales as well as him/herself.

4.      Keep close collaboration with commercial teams and active participation in commercial team meetings to ensure alignment and drive future local development plan

II.             Therapeutic Area Representation

1.      Build internal / external reputation as a credible Medical Affairs expert and advocate

2.      Provide medical insight and support to business development initiatives as appropriate

3.      Provide medical input into relevant clinical components of regulatory submissions as necessary, and support Commercial and New Product Teams where appropriate.

4.      Manage investigator- initiated-sponsored research and support for development of clinical research programs

III.           Internal & External Network/ KOL Management.

1.      Develop KOL management strategy and plan, facilitating the allocation of responsibility for managing specific KOL relationships along clearly defined lines.

2.      Provide MA oversight and support for market development activities.

3.      Responsible for engaging and influencing KOLs in Korea.

4.      Support and moderate advisory board meetings and speaker training initiatives.

5.      Build an internal and external reputation as medical and scientific expert participating in appropriate professional organizations and meetings, symposia and medical education programs to maintain and improve knowledge and expertise.

IV.           Medical Education

1.      Develop and conduct lectures/educational sessions for appropriate healthcare audiences.

2.      Conduct training for internal audiences.

3.      Consult in the selection and development of expert speakers.

[Requirement]

1.             Master’s degree or above preferred.

2.             Major preferred: Medicine, Pharmacy, Life-science related.

3.             5 years of related experience with a minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience within Medical Affairs is required.

4.             Comprehensive and in-depth understanding about complex scientific and medical concepts.

5.             Fluency in English both in writing and in speaking.
