- Drive the design and implementation of the integrated project plan of one or more
programs under the guidance of the Global Program Team (GPT) Head
- As required by GPT Head, provide strategic and operational leadership to GPT
Team
Provide strategic and critical input to the program with regards to content
and manage feasibility considerations with functional representatives. Develop a
framework to address main issues within the program. Lead scenario generation and
contingency planning for the integrated development plan
- Run Development GPT subteam meetings independently
- Act as chief counsel and operational officer to GPT Head
- Drive innovation plans among functional GPT members to support the execution of
vaccine development programs and lead team as needed to design effective options/
solutions
- Manage relationships with key support functions outside of GPT and external vendors
for additional program/functional support. Challenge assumptions made by line
functions as necessary per strategic direction of the GPT Head, to drive change in
areas including process improvement, finance and product development
- Upon request, deputise for GPT Head on reporting on program progression / issues;
support GPT Head in the for preparation of selected communications / executive
presentations to VPRC/VCMT/IB
- Manage and identify problem solving and risk management plans. Identify root
causes of potential risk and ensure mitigating actions as necessary
- With expert knowledge in project management tools/processes, drive GPT to accomplish
milestones on time, manage budget alongside the functions
- Accountable for quality and accuracy of Eureka plans
- Drive efficiency in development operations and improve productivity
through support of operational excellence programs
- Develop processes that support key objectives; manage corresponding tracking and
performance against metrics
- Oversee and challenge program budget/spending on a monthly basis, provide feedback
to GPT & Franchise, and supports the Team in prioritizing activities
