The successful candidate will put his or her efforts in conducting process development for manufacturing process of T cell therapy products. S/He is encouraged to effectively and frequently collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
About the Company:
TeraImmune, Inc. is a Maryland-based startup company developing immune therapeutics using regulatory T cells (Tregs). By combining target-specific receptors with Tregs, the company provides CAR-Treg and TCR-Treg technologies to help patients with autoimmune diseases. In addition to Treg immunology, TeraImmune is expanding its range of scope in immune therapies to other immune cells and biologics as well as cancer therapeutics. TeraImmune is now looking for enthusiastic and motivated scientists to prepare the first-in-human clinical trials with the gene-engineered Tregs followed by anti-cancer therapy. Primary responsibilities:
- · Develop workflow and protocols of T cell manufacturing process.
- · Write developments/reports (progress reports, SOPs, BPRs, and other manufacturing related documents).
- · Analyze and present data and work independently to manage multiple projects.
- · Conduct collaborative projects with internal departments and outside partners.
Basic Qualifications:
- · Major in cell/molecular biology, immunology, or related area.
- · Ph.D. candidate expected to graduate 2021 or Ph.D. degree 0-3 years of post-doctoral experience.
- · Strong organizational and record-keeping skills required.
Preferred Experiences
- · Experience in qPCR, animal cell culture, and flow cytometer.
- · Experience in GMP environment.
- · Knowledge in molecular/cellular immunology
- · Experience in human immune cell experiments.
