[Head of Business development]
THE POSITION:
- Vice President or Executive Vice President - Head of Pharmacy Business development
- Reports into President
- Position will be based in Seoul, Korea
- Must have previous experience with marketing activities for a Global Pharmaceutical Organization, Bio or Drug Product.
- Experience working with international, cross functional teams

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position will be working actively with the Business Development team to handle:
All tradeshow & conference activities
- Booth design & setup
- PR / Speaking engagements
- Competitive Intelligence
- Lead Generation Activities
Business Intelligence &Strategic Marketing
- Develop and manage creative marketing initiatives
- Create marketing campaigns, and additional promotions as required
Branding
- Positioning of Services
- Competitor Landscape Review
- Market Opportunity Review
- Lead Generation from Market Intelligence
- Voice of the Customer
Print & Media
- Manage vendors
- Responsibility for marketing literature, production and distribution including copywriting, artistic and agency liaison, printers and designers
- Manage print & online media strategy
- Evaluation and monitoring of all campaigns in print and on line (Google Ads, etc.)
- Website maintenance
Communication
- Protect the use of the Company brand in all forms of communication internally and externally
- Provide reports, project plans, budgets and other papers as required for the Board, VP and other stakeholders
- Work with the VP of Business Development to manage business recovery procedures for all eventualities
Other Activities
- Travel with BD team
- Give presentations
- Formulate and plan the annual marketing budget
- Introduce key marketing policies and processes
- Attend regular meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, policies, procedures and budgets
- Sales Training & Plan Adoption
- CRM Implementation & Rollout
QUALIFICATION:
- 20+ years relevant of industry experience
- Previous relevant Marketing experience in the activities for a Global Pharmaceutical Organization, Bio or Drug Product.
- Understanding of the entire Pharmaceutical development processes as well as manufacturing process
- Knowledge / Awareness of GMP
- Proficient in computers/technology (MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project as well as other similar project management tools)
- Ability to build and manage customer relationships through a consultative sales approach
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
- Ability to speak and/or read Korean a plus
- Experience and understanding of data analysis and evaluation to meet business needs
- Superb networking, influencing, time management and presentation skills
- Dependable, flexible, detail-oriented and self-motivated along with the ability to be self-managed
- A proven working relationship with the press
- Resilient in nature—willing to go the extra mile
- Open minded, embraces change, and entrepreneurial by nature
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%) and possible more in the first 12-18 months
- Proven success in implementing programs
